Rewind 1991: True Champ

Juara berganda musim 1991, Liga semi-pro Divisyen 1 dan Piala Malaysia. Yang terbaik pada malam final Piala Malaysia, kalahkan Selangor 3-1. Hatrik oleh Ervin Boban. Karel Stromsik, keeper Selangor sikit punya terer pun boleh nganga bolos 3. Jangan main-main, Karel Stromsik wakil Czechoslovakia kat World Cup 1982!

Adunan pemain import, Ervin Boban, Alistair Edwards dan Abbas Saad dengan pemain tempatan seperti Nasir 'the prof' Yusof, Khalid Shahdan, Hassan Miskam, Nazarudin Atan memang menjadi. Khalid Shahdan dengan long shoot, Nasir Yusof punya first touch macam tak ikhlas tapi selamba, dengan through pass yang boleh buat defender kejung macam model sedang posing. Tambah pula finishing Alistair Edwards dan Boban, dan hardworking midfielder Abbas Saad.

Antara memorable moment ialah separuh akhir Piala Malaysia lawan Kuala Lumpur kat Stadium Larkin. KL datang dengan star strikers Subadron Aziz dan Azman Adnan dan home win 2-1. Super sub, Anuar Abu Bakar masuk tak sampai 2 minit score winning gol kat Larkin. Johor menang 4-3 on aggregate. Selebihnya macam orang kata, was history.

Team Johor sekarang tak macam team Johor dulu. Sama macam bolasepak kat Malaysia. Tak macam dulu.

Dalam banyak-banyak team, sekarang dia pergi team yang tak ternama. Team apa ntah.

Masa tu 1997, aku first time tengok dia main kat Stadium Larkin. Walaupun condition padang tak bagus, skuad-skuad Belia Piala Dunia semua main cun (kecuali Malaysia). First touch macam ada gam UHU kat boot. Tak sia-sia aku turun naik bas pergi Larkin.

Dia ni player paling menonjol kat J.B. masa Piala Dunia Belia 1997, umur baru 17 kalau aku tak silap. Menendang sambil lari, dah la lari macam pelesit. Tapi sekarang sebab injury kronik, value dia drop dan finishing pun dah tak macam dulu.

Dah tu free transfer plak ke team setan nih. Suka hati kau la Owen.

Minggu mendebarkan dunia bolasepak

EPL 2008/2009

My EPL 2008/2009 prediction.

1. Keane will not be good enuff for the Kop to have the attacking edge. (same problem in the past with Diouf, Gonzalez, Kewell, Nigel Clough, Voronin, Bellamy, Pennant, Cisse)
   
2. Liverpool will finish top 4 but to challenge the title? I doubt it.
3. Barry won't be a Liverpool signing. Even though if he sign, he will be another flop.
   
4. New left sided winger/midfielder will be sign by Benitez.
5. Remember that the Liverpool no. 7 shirt was always worn by the club legend (Keegan, Daglish, McManaman, Callaghan, Beardsley) Sorry Keane, better luck next club.
6. It's Chelsea & Man Utd again face to face for the title. Shit...
   
7. Newcastle's Jonas can only manage to do his 'spiderman' gig no more than 5 times. Haha.
8. Ronaldo will stay at Man Utd for at least until end of this season. It's ok if he wants to leave earlier...
   
9. More Arsenal players will leave the club.
10. More magical touch by Deco.
11. October and November will be the time to decide the top 4 standings.
12. Scolari will at least get one silverware this season. (...that S.O.B)
13. Torres will have another superb season!
14. Ferguson will complaint (bla...bla...bla) about Spurs officials until at least Januaryif he cannot get Berbatov. Ironically he acted the same way when Real Madrid start tapping Ronaldo....haha...Nyanyuk org tua tuh!
    
15. Shevchenko will be back to Milan...on the way to San Siro complaint how hard to adjust the lifestyle in England...bla..bla..bla.
16. Liverpool will perform better in Champion league than EPL. Much more better that they could take anyone. Even Juventus on their best performance. Liverpool is a bit like bird flu. They have been lethal in other countries and we keep getting told it's only a matter of time before they make their mark here in England, but there's no sign of it yet. Haha.
17. Mr. Wenger will sign an undervalued youngster who will develop into a world class player, then the player will leave Arsenal for a better club that pays a lot more.
    
18. Eventually Wenger will quit Arsenal and founded a football academy that will sell youngsters to big name clubs. Haha.
