Karma Police

For the past 2 weeks, I have been listening to Radiohead mp3 to-&-fro office. The band have been part of my teen angst "must listen to". I remember during the uni days, we played Creep (ada sekali atau dua kali, upon request from TM). The bridge was destructive enough, that I nearly bleed my finger & broke my pick. Since then, I prefer Jim Dunlop extra heavy pick or just cut-out prepaid top up card to make a pick. (plus that time I am always broke, masa student sengkek...just depend on scholarship to buy everything....) Hehe! For those kaki & tangan bangku, guitar pick is a plectrum use to strum the guitar.

Gua masih simpan! Kad bonus link yg jadi mangsa.

Radiohead lyric & video always thought provoking. Look for the song "Just" video from The Bends album in YouTube, and you'll know what I mean. Anyway, this is the song currently has been repeating over & over & over in my car. It's about the working class society. A metaphor. Note to my band: bole jam lagu nih?

Karma Police from OK Computer

Karma police, arrest this man, he talks in maths
He buzzes like a fridge, he's like a detuned radio
Karma police, arrest this girl, her hitler hairdo,
is making me feel ill
And we have crashed her party

This is what you get, this is what you get
This is what you get, when you mess with us

Karma police, I've given all I can, its not enough
I've given all I can, but were still on the payroll

This is what you get, this is what you get
This is what you get, when you mess with us

And for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself
And for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself
For a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself

To be or not to be

This is what I told my boss when i had a discussion with him yesterday:

I am trying to be rhetoric, but they'll say "I cakap berkias-kias", when I am direct, they'll say "I cakap lepas".

Pennant can send farewell email to colleague

Reports suggest that Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant has narrowly missed out a sensational move to Real Madrid - by demanding too high a wage from the Spanish giants. Out-of-favour Pennant's Anfield appearances have been scant this season, and it has been no secret that his future lies away from Merseyside.

The Daily Mail said Pennant was all set for a shock £3.5 million move to the Spanish capital, but saw the deal collapse over the contract details. The 25-year-old former Arsenal and Birmingham winger reportedly wanted £60,000-a-week, while Real were only willing to pay him half that amount.

He now looks set to move on loan to a Premier League club, with Stoke and Wigan most heavily linked. Though last weekend saw suggestions that Benitez wanted to swap him with Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon. The £6.7m signing, who has failed to find a home at Liverpool, just as he did at Arsenal, who paid £2m for him as a 15-year-old from Notts County in 1999. (source:espn soccernet)

ME: Kops need more speed & flair on left & right flank...Pennant is too lightweight. If only Rafa can bring in Joaquin. Kalau tak dapat Joaquin, Aaron Lennon pon jadik la. Previously they were scouting Quaresma. Just a speculation maybe. Anyway, Kops are enjoying the top spot for Xmas. You'll never walk...aloneeeee...you'll never walk alone. Stay there & just have faith.

Ankle gua terseliuh semalam masa main futsal. pegi keje pun terjengket2. nampaknya kene menjauhkan diri dr court prima utk sementara waktu. cehhhss.

the Cinematic experience

Rentetan daripada insiden kentut kat wayang. Let me share some of my experience. These are some of the top rating incidents I encountered:

(1) Movie:Face/Off. Ending of the movie shows glance of Travolta (hero) walked pass by a window. Someone shouted, yeayyyyyyyhh sambil tepuk tangan. Overexcited. Ini still acceptable sebab movie nih best. Yela masa tuh semua anxious nak tau adakah hero dapat kembalikan wajah & perut boroi dia. Sebelum tu kan si hero jadi Nicholas Cage. Confuse? korang pi tengok balik la.

(2) Movie: Matrix Revolutions. At the middle of the movie, somebody was snorring. Nuff said.

(3) Movie: Lord of the Rings - Return of the King. Ada sorang mamat nih try to explain, macam mana Gandalf "suda mati, idup balek" to his girlfriend. OMG. Sepanjang movie. C'mon la, masa tu dah third movie la weh! Try imagine how he summarized the 1st & 2nd movie. One word for it...annoying.

(4) Movie: The fifth element. Ada couple berbual macam wayang tuh diorang ada share. Tau la movie tuh boring, tapi gua dengar korang nyer citer persiapan kahwin lagi la gua boring.

(1) kaki bergoyang-goyang kat belakang kerusi kita. Kejap rasa macam kerusi OSIM, kejap rasa macam nak pegi tepuk dahi orang kat belakang tu.

(2) orang depan duduk dengan postur sempurna 90°. Dah tu ketinggian 180 cm.

(3) handphone not in silent mode. Nih memang bebal maksima.

(5) orang sebelah kunyah twisties/popcorn over-over plak.

For whatever reason we go to cinema, everyone have different opinion why they felt watching movie in cinema a better option than the comfort of our own couch. Even with the annoyance of other people. :)

Some people are just not meant to be a leader.

Sekarang ni zaman millenia, bekerja dengan otak, bukan dengan kaki & tangan jek. Shigeo Shingo once said, to be succesful get all people involved from top to bottom & drive their ideas. Never underestimate your subordinate. And that was in 1950's. Since then the American ciplak his idea & implement it in the West.

Merujuk DBP, kakitangan bermaksud pekerja (pejabat, syarikat, dll), pembantu (yg turut melaksanakan atau mengurus kerja).

Macam mana pulak dengan kakitangan k'jaan? Kenapa agaknya selalu ada problem bila deal dgn agensi k'jaan?

Hmmm.. mungkin ni rootcause nyer:
(1) satu officer tade...so keje officer tuh tak gerak until he/she get back! No one will follow up...sedihnya bila officer tuh in charge in customer related issues. Kalau cuti 1 minggu kene tunggu la 1 minggu...aku penah kena, officer tuh training 1 minggu then sambung cuti 1 minggu. Total dia unavailable time: 2 weeks. Oh fuck up nyer. How the hell they delegate their job?
(2) customer servis & kaunter pertanyaan yg biasanya buat part time jual tempe basi. Sebab muka diorang pun ala2 tempe basi. Bila di tanya semua tak tau...mintak kite call sana sini. People say Arsenal play a lot of passing football. Same with customer service in GLC or gov. They'll pass u around until the opponent (us, unfortunately) fed up.
(3) mentaliti 'bekerja untuk benefit'. I am not talking about salary or bonus.
(4) etc etc....

If these behavior or mentality in private company, sure kena whack dengan boss. Atau pun kene maki hamun. I must admit not all the gov servant are like this, jangan kerana nila setitik, rosak susu sebelanga plak. Oh tebalnya semangat ketuanan melayu aku, sampai berkias-kias plak.

Perhatikan gambar di atas. Kalau diterjemahkan ke Bahasa Melayu,

Tenaga mental, mood, & motivasi

Hahahaha. Oh, I am begging the gov servant to improve, or else GFY la.

note to pt/ptd: hayatilah hari kualiti agensi anda & faham betul² maksud piagam pelanggan.
In my company, we (even the operator & GW) are reffered as....associate. Not employee or kakitangan.

Papan Tanda

Kat Malaysia sekarang dah terjadi macam².

Awas! Jalan rosak di hadapan.

Ok, wtf? Dalam kepala aku terbayang perkara² ni jek....
(1) JKR dah give up nak repair jalan tuh then put up the road sign.
(3) Dulu diorang letak sign "Jalan Sedang Di baiki"...tapi sebab lama sgt kontraktor bumiputra nak repair, jadi JKR give up.
(4) Jalan tuh adalah laluan bebas cukai, so kereta yang road tax dah mati pun bole lalu tanpa kene saman. Yela, kalau jalan tuh ada duit dr pembayar² cukai dah tentu diorang jaga baik².

As we pass by the road, lubang sana sini. Macam war mines. Kene elak kiri, elak kanan. Nasib baik bukan kereta aku. Bukan aku yang drive. Sori beb! Hehe.

Bila cerita pasal sign board nih semua orang dah tau yang sign board/road sign kat Malaysia dah berbangsa-bangsa. Jangan nanti satu hari road sign/sign board pun nak ada 'gender' plak. Hahahhahahha.

Anyway, aku jumpa satu sign board nih. This one I think very suitable for Malaysia.

p/s: moga² pihak berwajib tingkatkan lagi mutu soalan PTK yang akan datang utk pegawai² awam.
